December 8 beacame a tragic date back in 1980 good thing I was not alive back then, but John Lennon's musical legacy was strong enough that even 28 years after his death his Music and Ideals still make an impact on this new generation and I hope will still continue because the message of peace will never get old. For as long as there is human exsistence there will be a need and a desire for Peace.

Exactly 24 years after John Lennon's tragic death history repeats itself. Dimebag was a man that was built to make music and could express his emotions through his guitar. Dimebag's influence in heavy metal music was as significant as Black Sabbath's Paranoid album back in 1970.
It is always sad when great ones die because like the saying goes nothing last forever but hopefully the music great men make can transcend the test of time.
