Fail?

"For those of you just tuning in on the Fox News Channel or C-SPAN, I'm Rush Limbaugh and I want everyone in this room and every one of you around the country to succeed. I want anyone who believes in life, liberty, pursuit of happiness to succeed. And I want any force, any person, any element of an overarching Big Government that would stop your success, I want that organization, that element or that person to fail. I want you to succeed. [Applause] Also, for those of you in the Drive-By Media watching, I have not needed a teleprompter for anything I've said." - Rush Limbaugh's Address at CPAC
I find a lot wrong with this statement but what do I know I am just an unemployed college student resident of a ghetto with some revolutionary views, slight communistic ideals, and a desire for world peace. I find something wrong in wishing success on anybody who believes in the constitutions of the United States of America while at the same time hoping that the government in charge or enforcing the constitution fails. Is he saying that "the big government" does not believe in the constitution? And wishing for their failure does that not translate into hoping they cannot pursuit happiness? I did not like Bush's way of governing the country and I did not agree with a lot of his issues and ideals yet I never wished he just failed plain and simple. I wished he would do better, I wish he would get impeach for an unjust war, I wished John Kerry would have one and I wished for change but I never wanted the President of the United States of America to fail while he had the power of the nation in his hands. Its ridiculous. I agree with him that anyone in this country should succeed but I don't wish failure upon anybody just because of opposing political views. Now Hitler that's someone you can wish to fail. We should find a common enemy and attack it, That will bring peace. Or release a giant squid that kills off half of new york city and brings peace to us all. where is Ozymandias when you need him.
